STUDY OVERVIEW

SUMMARY

This study is testing whether a home-based virtual reality training program that uses visual and audio exercises can improve driving ability in people who have vision loss after a brain injury or stroke. Participants’ driving performance will be measured in a driving simulator before and after training, looking at things like braking, lane keeping, speed control, and traffic rule errors. The study will also measure changes in visual attention and how much of their visual field participants can see, along with monitoring for any motion sickness or side effects from the VR. Overall, the goal is to see if this type of VR-based rehabilitation can help people see and react better while driving.
