Oculus Quest How-Tos
Setting Up Stationary Guardian
The guardian allows you to define the boundaries for your play area while using the device. Bring the headset and controllers to a place where you can sit down. Take a seat and put on the headset.
Once you have adjusted the headset to fit you comfortably, turn the headset on by pressing and holding the power button for 5 seconds before releasing it. Next you will set the floor level.
While holding the controller bring it down to the floor. Once the purple boundary circle is on your floor click on the confirm button.

Next set your play area by selecting “Switch to stationary boundary”, and then selecting the confirm button.
Your stationary boundary should now be set.
